Projections: Don't Expect 'Twilight' to Slow
20 Feb, 2012 By: John Latchem
After overwhelming sales success on its Saturday debut, Summit’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 should repeat atop the sales charts in its first full week in stores, and is likely to climb to the top of the rental chart.
A lack of strong new releases should allow Disney’s Lady and the Tramp re-release to stay high on the charts as well.
The biggest newcomer from Feb. 14 was Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s The Rum Diary, which stars Johnny Depp but grossed just $13.1 million in U.S. theaters.
