FremantleMedia Enterprises has signed a seven-year deal to have more than 30 of its classic British mystery and drama titles distributed throughout the United States and Canada by Acorn Media Group.

Titles include Callan, an espionage drama starring Edward Woodward; Paradise Postponed, a “Masterpiece Theatre” adaptation by John Mortimer; Pie in the Sky, a detective drama with Richard Griffiths; Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, starring Derek Jacobi; and Road From Coorain, an adaptation of Jill Ker Conway’s memoir.

The agreement expands a partnership that included releases of Fingersmith and Fanny Hall, according to Acorn VP of programming Don Klees.
