Daily Promoted at Fox

Mary Daily has been promoted to president and chief marketing officer of worldwide marketing at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, effective immediately.

Reporting directly to president Mike Dunn, Daily will be responsible for creative development, digital and brand marketing, promotions, public relations and media for all products distributed worldwide by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

“As we build the organization for the future, Mary will drive the physical and digital integration and create new opportunities for growth,” Dunn said. “One of her key strengths is being immersed in the culture with a strong ability to impact all types of audiences.”

Daily had served as EVP of North American marketing since 2008, helping to drive consumer adoption of Blu-ray Disc, DVD and digital copy, as well as content for mobile and PC devices. She’s overseen the marketing campaigns for Avatar, Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Alien Anthology, X-Men: First Class, Rio, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and more.

“The marketplace is evolving rapidly and people have more choices than ever before to access and enjoy their favorite films and television shows, but our focus remains the same: to deliver the best possible consumer experiences,’’ Daily said. “Whether consumers are accessing their entertainment through Blu-ray, DVD, via digital downloads, streaming or the cloud, we’ll be pursuing the delivery of engaging products, backed by disruptive campaigns that connect our projects to them.’’

Before coming to the Century City, Calif., office, Daily worked out of Fox’s London division, helping to bring Titanic, Braveheart and others to international markets. Before Fox, Daily held senior executive posts at MTV Networks International and Universal Pictures International.

A member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Daily is a native of Scotland.
