11 Mar, 2011 By: Ashley Ratcliff

Lionsgate will release the first three installments of popular horror film franchise “Scream” on Blu-ray March 29, as Scream 4 hits theaters April 15.

Scream, Scream 2 and Scream 3 — directed by master of macabre Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street) — will be available for $19.99 each.

The series began in 1996 with Scream, which enthralled audiences with the mysterious masked killer and an all-star cast of victims who included Courtney Cox (“Cougar Town”), Jada Pinkett Smith (Collateral), Liev Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Neve Campbell (Wild Things). Other stars from the franchise include Drew Barrymore (Going the Distance), Matthew Lillard (“House, M.D.”), David Arquette (Eight Legged Freaks), Sarah Michelle Gellar (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”), Jamie Kennedy (Malibu’s Most Wanted), Omar Epps (“House, M.D.”) and Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy”).

Scream bonus material includes an audio commentary with Craven and writer Kevin Williamson, a production featurette, two behind-the-scenes featurettes, a Q&A with the cast and crew, and a theatrical trailer.

Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 3 (2000) both feature an audio commentary with Craven, producer Marianne Maddalena and editor Patrick Lussier, deleted scenes with optional commentary from the filmmakers, outtakes and more.

As the franchise celebrates 15 years, Scream 4 will pick up where the saga left off as Sidney Prescott (Campbell) is visited by the ghost-face killer 10 years later. It features new blood, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody and Rory Culkin, as well as Arquette and Cox of the prior films.
