Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing has licensed Screen Media Films to release its titles on home video and on demand.
Screen Media now has 11 films from Chicken Soup for the Soul and is seeking more family-friendly fare. The first eight are slated to be released April 13.
The first films released through Screen Media from the label will include School of Life, starring Ryan Reynolds; The Courage to Love, starring Vanessa Williams and Gil Bellows; Canvas, starring Marcia Gay Harden and Joey Pantoliano; and Smile, with Beau Bridges, Sean Astin and Cheri Oteri.

Chicken Soup for the Soul claims more than 112 million books sold and more than $1.3 billion in sales.
