Sony Pictures Home Entertainment April 25 announced a multiyear agreement with Vega Baby Films to distribute and market the Singapore-based film finance, production and distribution company’s films globally in both physical and digital formats.

The first titles in the deal include Everly, starring Oscar-nominated Salma Hayek, and Dave Navarro documentary Mourning Son.

“We are always looking to expand our product offerings in the home entertainment marketplace and this partnership is in keeping with that strategy,” Ben Means, SVP of third-party strategic partnerships for SPHE, said in a statement.

Vega Baby is in pre-production on the horror/thriller Devil’s Whisper. Additional titles include Kin (f/k/a Dig) an action/thriller; Prowl, an action/adventure; and Curse of Poltergeist, a documentary featuring Oliver Robins, who starred in the original Poltergeist

“Our film finance, production and distribution divisions combined with the expertise, positioning and power of SPHE, will ensure our films reach the largest audience possible thereby giving us and our filmmaking partners the greatest potential for commercial success,” said Vega Baby CEO Adam Ripp.
