Projections: 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Ready for No. 1 Debut

Fox's X-Men: Apocalypse should easily debut at No. 1 on the disc sales charts the week ending Oct. 9.
The latest "X-Men" film earned $155.4 million at the domestic box office, ranking it seventh among the franchise's nine films.
Also looking for a solid bow is Universal's The Purge: Election Year, which earned $79 million at U.S. theaters, the most of the three "Purge" films.
On the weekly rental chart, The Shallows looks to hold onto the top spot for a second week.
