Projections: 'Mockingjay' Takes on 'Hateful' Competition

4 Apr, 2016 By: John Latchem

In the week ending April 3, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 will look to hold onto the top home video sales spot against newcomers such as Anchor Bay's The Hateful Eight.

The new Quentin Tarantino film has the highest profile of the weeks new releases following a domestic box office cume of $54 million.

Other newcomers include Sony Pictures' Concussion and Warner's ill-received Point Break remake, taking on holdovers such as Paramoun's Daddy's Home.

The rental chart, Daddy's Home looks to keep the top spot for a second week, as Warner's Creed moves into a top spot after coming off its month-long holdback from Redbox.
