MPI Media Group has landed DVD distribution rights to future releases from IFC Films.

The deal covers films from IFC in Theaters, which are available on VOD day-and-date with their theatrical releases, and IFC Festival Direct, which are VOD films from major film festivals.

“[IFC is] a true force in independent cinema and an innovator in making film accessible via their diverse delivery platforms,” said MPI CEO Malik Ali.

Previously, IFC had a distribution agreement with Genius Products.

Earlier IFC Films that have made their way to DVD include My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Casa de los Babys and Y Tu Mamá También.

The first two releases, Apres Lui and Nights and Weekends, come in August, with In the Loop, Filth and Wisdom, How To Be and I Hate Valentine's Day also upcoming.
