Seeking to again mine incremental revenue from its film library, Image Entertainment Oct. 26 said it has assembled a second package of B-titles with A-list stars earmarked for local TV syndication.
Chatsworth, Calif.-based Image is a subsidiary of RLJ Entertainment.
The “Image Maker II” series of movies contains 18 titles featuring award-winning actors and directors, including Jennifer Aniston, Steve Buscemi, Sean Connery, Richard Dreyfuss, Shelley Duvall, John Goodman, Woody Harrelson, Bob Hoskins, Helen Mirren, Theresa Russell, William Shatner, Martin Sheen, Sharon Stone and Christopher Walken.
“Our first TV syndication package was quite successful,” said John Hyde, vice chairman of Image. “We created this package based on the feedback from our stations. Because of its vast catalog, Image is in a unique position with its customers to offer nearly every type of genre imaginable.”
