Home entertainment studio ups Dillavou to VP of international marketing
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment Nov. 12 named Julie Howe SVP of brand marketing. Howe will oversee North America brand marketing for all home entertainment new live action film and franchise releases, reporting to Vincent Marcais, EVP of worldwide marketing, in Los Angeles.
Howe comes from the Associated Press, where she was marketing director for EMEA and Asia. As a member of AP’s international management team, she was responsible for developing strategy for all aspects of marketing outside the United States and Latin America, with a focus on driving revenue growth from platforms targeting new digital customer segments.
Separately, Fox upped Cameron Dillavou to VP of international marketing, reporting to Tom Warner, SVP of international marketing.
Dillavou will lead the development of international product offerings, release strategy and campaign execution of new-release feature films. During her tenure at Fox, she has managed more than 100 international marketing campaigns, including the recent campaign for Skyfall, which resulted in record-breaking Blu-ray Disc sales in the United Kingdom and Germany.
She also spearheads marketing of physical product bundled with digital rights and has launched an industry-first consumer anti-piracy campaign in Russia. Dillavou began her career with Fox in 2007 as a director of international new-release marketing.
