$69.98 13-DVD set
Not Rated.

This boxed set is sort of the end-all be-all of the sampler concept, in that it contains not just isolated episodes of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim shows, but whole seasons: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Vol. 2; Metalocalypse: Season 1; Sealab 2021: Season 2; Moral Orel: Season 1; cult-favorite Space Ghost Coast to Coast: Season 3; and my personal favorite, Robot Chicken: Season 2.

Since the season sets are already available separately, the main selling point of this boxed set is a bonus disc containing five pilot episodes never before available on DVD.

Included are: “Best of Totally for Teens,” kind of a low-quality retro after-school show parody; “Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge,” a CG spoof of Britney Spears with a touch of Rainbow Brite and the Care Bears; the mostly forgettable “Perfect Hair Forever”; “Welcome to Eltingville,” a geekfest about a Dungeons & Dragons club, which covers a lot of the same ground as “The Big Bang Theory”; and “Korgoth of Barbaria,” a Conan/He-Man spoof that is ruthless, violent and hilarious.
