No need to discuss stacking rights for mixed martial arts series “Kingdom.” Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment Oct. 22 announced it will make episodes from the current second season available for rent and sale on Digital HD the day after their broadcasts on DirecTV and AT&T U-verse.
Digital HD platforms include iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, GooglePlay, Vudu, Verizon FiOS, Comcast Xfinity, Xbox Video and PlayStation Video.
“Kingdom” stars Frank Grillo (Captain America, The Purge: Anarchy) as the owner of a MMA gym in Venice, Calif., who must confront addiction, family and relationship issues surrounding fighters in his gym and his own personal life.
Kiele Sanchez (The Purge: Anarchy, “The Glades”), Matt Lauria (“Friday Night Lights”), Jonathan Tucker (“Parenthood,” “Justified”), Nick Jonas, Joanna Going (“House of Cards,” “Mad Men”), and Natalie Martinez (“Secrets and Lies”) co-star.
Earlier this summer, Fox and series producer Endemol Shine North America announced that the first season of “Kingdom” was available for the first time on all Digital HD platforms.
