Universal's Latest 'Battlestar' Hits Digital First

The unrated edition of Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome stars Luke Pasqualino ("The Borgias") as a young William Adama in a story about the first Cylon war. It streets as a Blu-ray Disc combo pack, DVD, VOD and digital download Feb. 19, 2013.
It’s available first exclusively first via Machinima's premium channel, Machinima Prime (youtube.com/MachinimaPrime), where it will be presented in 10 episodes, running now through February. It will be followed by a two-hour movie premiere on Syfy.
The film follows the war across all 12 colonial worlds and sees Adama assigned to the Battlestar Galactica, where he finds himself at odds with his co-pilot Coker (Ben Cotton of "Alcatraz").
Bonus features include deleted scenes, a visual effects featurettes and an UltraViolet copy.
The film was intended to serve as a pilot for a new “Battlestar” prequel series but was not picked up by the network.
