Rated ‘R’ for strong sexual content, nudity, bloody violence, drug use and language.
Stars Sam Page, Natassia Malthe, David Gant.
On the surface, David Dunsmore (Sam Page from “Gossip Girl” and “Mad Men”) appears to have caught lightening in a bottle. His compassion and good looks are rewarded with a hot girlfriend, Georgie (Natassia Malthe).
In the closet, however, lie myriad skeletons, spearheaded by a louse for a dad (Michael Maxwell). Dunsmore Sr. left David’s mother for a slew of women half his age and now calls Spain home. He supports his perennial midlife crisis lifestyle delivering drugs and young women to the highest bidder.
For unknown reasons, David and Georgie visit his father in Spain for some R&R — a sojourn that includes a requisite visit to the local dance club. There, Georgie voluntarily takes ecstasy and (surprise!) vanishes while David visits the little boy’s room.
Unbeknownst to David, Georgie has been kidnapped and sold into sexual slavery to the “White Arab” (David Gant) — a delusional predator who maintains a harem of drugged semi-naked young women aboard his yacht for his twisted pleasures.
What follows is David’s attempt to rescue Georgie, a mission that includes the usual clichés, requisite action sequences and a twist or two.
What makes this by-the-numbers yarn the perfect rental distraction: An exotic locale, eye-candy and a vacation from engaged thought.
