Lionsgate Ups Kristine Klimczak to Assistant Treasurer

Lionsgate April 5 announced the promotion of veteran finance executive Kristine Klimczak to VP and assistant treasurer. Kate Davies has been named to Klimczak’s former position as SVP of accounting and finance.

Klimczak will be responsible for Lionsgate’s global cash financial planning and debt management and will report to CFO Jimmy Barge. She will also oversee certain operational accounting and worldwide cash management functions under the leadership of CAO Rick Prell.

“Combining [Kristine’s] expertise with Kate’s track record in efficient systems management, our finance team is better positioned than ever to meet the needs of Lionsgate's capital structure and expanding operations around the world,” Barge and Prell said in a statement.

Klimczak joined Lionsgate in February 2005 as VP of finance. Prior to Lionsgate, she held progressively responsible accounting and finance positions in both technology and entertainment companies. She graduated from the University of Michigan Business School and earned a CPA while working in public accounting for three years.
