Report: Netflix Coming to Spain in January

Netflix is set to launch its streaming service in Spain in January and initially will include approximately 3,500 films and TV shows, the Spanish-language La Información newspaper reported.

Quoting Pedro Pérez, the president of the Federation of Spanish Audiovisual Producer Associations, the paper reported Netflix will offer a monthly subscription service to the European country, just months after Netflix’s planned expansion to 43 countries in Central and South America and the Caribbean.

A Netflix spokesman said he could not comment on the report.
