Netflix Ups Viacom Streaming Content

Updates include first-time streaming access to reality shows “Jersey Shore” and “The Hills”
Netflix has added new streaming TV programs from media company Viacom Inc., including series from MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, VH1 and Comedy Central.
In a May 22 blog post, Cindy Holland, VP of content acquisition with the Los Gatos, Calif.-based online disc rental pioneer, said programs include children and teen shows “Yo Gabba Gabba,” “Spongebob SquarePants,” “True Jackson VP,” “iCarly” and “Dora the Explorer.”
Other MTV shows available for unlimited streaming for the first time include “The Buried Life” and “The City.”
“We also have new shows … like 'American Gangster,' additional episodes of 'The Sarah Silverman Show,' and all kinds of fun TV from … Logo and Spike,” Holland wrote in the post.
