HBO Connects Fans to Comic-Con

HBO’s social TV site HBO Connect (HBO.com/connect) is taking fans of “True Blood” and “Game of Thrones” behind-the-scenes July 12-15 at San Diego Comic-Con International.
HBO Connect kicks off its coverage Friday, July 13, with an exclusive sweepstakes for a limited-edition “Game of Thrones”-branded Xbox 360. Fans can visit HBO Connect and follow #sdccgotfan to enter the contest.
Kristian Nairn, who plays Hodor on “Game of Thrones,” will tweet from the floor at Comic-Con, searching out the show’s superfans for photo ops and giveaways at .
In addition, HBO will live-tweet throughout the “Game of Thrones” panel in Hall H via @GameofThrones, providing a play by play for fans not in attendance.
Saturday, July 14, HBO Connect gives “True Blood” fans a chance to unlock an exclusive Comic-Con trailer, which will go live for fans if they tweet #sdcctruebie 150,000 times.
Janina Gavankar, who plays Luna on the show, will take to the floor in search of “Truebies” and tweet her experiences with the show’s fans at .
HBO will live-tweet the happenings of the “True Blood” panel from Ballroom 20.
All events will be archived at HBO Connect for fans to revisit later.
