YouTube Gets Clips From CNN, TNT, ‘Gossip Girl’

20 Aug, 2009 By: Billy Gil

Google’s YouTube has inked a deal with Time Warner to feature program clips from some Warner movies and some of its cable networks, including CNN, Cartoon Network, the CW and TNT, including popular programs “Gossip Girl” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Reuters reports.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, but the companies will share advertising revenue, according to Reuters.

The new clips will join Time Warner clips already on YouTube, which include HBO promotional videos and CNN International news. Executives said both companies will expand on the deal in the future, Reuters reported.
