1960s 'Batman' Stars Reunite for Animated Movie

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC comics will release Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, an animated revival of the 1960s “Batman” TV show, Oct. 11 on Digital HD and Nov. 1 as a Blu-ray combo pack.

The movie will feature the voices of original series stars Adam West as Batman, Burt Ward as Robin and Julie Newmar as Catwoman.

The announcement was made Aug. 17 in a trailer released through Entertainment Weekly, in which West’s Batman promises the Dynamic Duo will fight the Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman both “on Earth and in space.”

The original series ran for three seasons from 1966 to 1968 and was released on DVD and Blu-ray in 2014. The movie is being branded as a "DC Classic Original Movie."
