FUNimation Launches Mobile App

Anime distributor FUNimation has launched its first mobile application, allowing users to watch more than 250 anime series on the go.

The application is available via the iTunes application store for iPhone and iPod devices and Google Play for Android devices.

The free version of the application allows users to watch intro episodes, clips and trailers, and comes with commercials and banner ads. A one-time $9.99 fee will give fans access to thousands of hours of episodes, including complete series, and removes banner ads. A monthly subscription fee of $7.95 will remove all commercials and offers exclusive content.
