Fox Gives ‘Glee’ Full First-Season Release

Glee: The Complete First Season

The hit TV show “Glee” is getting a full first-season DVD and Blu-ray release Sept. 14 (order date Aug. 18) from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. Glee: The Complete First Season includes all 22 episodes, plus new extras, as four-disc Blu-ray ($69.99) and seven-DVD ($59.98) boxed sets.

The show stars Matthew Morrison as a teacher who rejuvenates the glee club at McKinley High School. The cast includes Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch and Jayma Mays.

The first half of the season was previously released on DVD at the end of 2009. Those who bought that first volume can get a $10 “Gleebate” by sending a mail-in certificate and proof of purchase for both titles.
