‘Downton Abbey’ Season 2 Arrives Feb. 7

The second season of critically acclaimed “Downton Abbey” arrives on DVD and Blu-ray Feb. 7 from PBS Distribution. The show began airing Sundays on PBS stations Jan. 8 and runs through Feb. 19.

The show chronicles life in an English manor during the turbulent 1910s. The first season captured six Emmys, including one for Best Miniseries.

The returning cast includes Maggie Smith, Elizabeth McGovern, Hugh Bonneville, Dan Stevens, Michelle Dockery and Siobhan Finneran. The three-disc DVD ($44.99) and Blu-ray ($49.99) editions will include the original U.K. version of the show plus a variety of bonus features.
