‘Robot Chicken’ Creators to Promote DVD with Skating Tour

Adult Swim and Warner Home Video will celebrate the forthcoming DVD release of Robot Chicken: Star Wars — Episode II with a national bus tour of roller skating rinks.

Creators Seth Green and Matt Senreich will strap on a pair of skates for two weeks to bring “Robot Chicken”-style fun to the masses, joined by the shows writers and performers and the band Gym Class Heroes.

A preview party will take place during San Diego Comic-Con International July 25 before the tour kicks off Aug. 1 in Los Angeles.

Other stops on the “Robot Chicken on Wheels” tour include Aug. 2 in Las Vegas; Aug. 4 in Denver; Aug. 6 in Kansas City, Mo.; Aug. 8 in Indianapolis; Aug. 10 in Richmond, Va.; Aug. 12 in Philadelphia; and Aug. 14 in New York City.

At each event, admission is free and doors open at 8 p.m. All ages are welcome. Early entry vouchers, available in the Robot Chicken: Star Wars — Episode II DVD, will grant fans entry one hour earlier.
