Report: 'Grand Theft Auto IV' Tops Global Video Game Sales

Global sales of video game Grand Theft Auto IV (Rockstar) topped 6.2 million units, including 4.7 million units in the United States, according to a new report. Nintendo Wii titles Super Smash Bros: Brawl, Mario Kart and Wii Fit took the next three spots with global unit sales of 5.4 million, 4.7 million and 3.6 million, respectively.Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Activision) with 3.4 million unit sales rounded out the top five, according to data compiled jointly by The NPD Group, GfK Chart-Track Limited and Enterbrain.
