Universal to Distribute Well Go USA

Well Go USA has signed an agreement for Universal Pictures Home Entertainment to exclusively manage U.S. sales and distribution of Well Go’s Blu-ray and DVD products to mass retail.

The deal covers Well Go’s entire portfolio of films. Well Go USA will retain management of all its trade and consumer marketing and will continue to manage sales, marketing and distribution to specialty, regional and online.

“Well Go USA has an impressive track record in bringing top Asian and independent films to the North American market,” said Eddie Cunningham, president of UPHE. “In combining Universal’s premier sales and distribution capabilities with Well Go’s exceptional entertainment properties, our companies are well poised for an enduring and prosperous collaboration.”

“This agreement, combined with our expanding operation and growing library, positions us well for continued growth in the marketplace,” said Tony Vandeveerdonk, EVP at Well Go USA.

The partnership began in April with the release of Ip Man 3.
