Starz App Available on Samsung Smart TVs

The app enables Starz subscribers to access original series “American Gods,” “The White Princess,” “Black Sails,” “The Missing,” “Outlander” and “Power;” in addition to hundreds of movies.
The app is also available on Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, Apple TV, iPhones and iPads running iOS 8.0 or higher, Roku and Android TV, as well as most Android phones, tablets and TV devices.
Starz, which is owned by Lionsgatge, said subscriptions can be purchased directly on Starz.com or through the Samsung App store within the Smart Hub across select Samsung Smart TVs, and at the Amazon Appstore, App StoreSM, Google Play or Roku for $8.99 per month with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Subscribers receive instant access to more than 4,300 content selections monthly, including movies Ghostbusters, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Shallows, Don’t Breathe, Concussion, The Good Dinosaur, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Ratatouille and Ant-Man, among others.
Starz subs from third-party cable, satellite and telecom operators can also authenticate and view content in the app, including every episode of every season of Starz’s original programming.
