Sling Latino Adds Cine Sony Television

OTT video service offers Sony TV’s Spanish-language platform as a premium upgrade

Sling Latino (www.slinglatino.com) Dec. 16 announced it added Cine Sony Television to its Spanish-language over-the-top video platform.

Cine Sony TV features Hollywood movies in Spanish, including action-adventure, comedy, and horror/suspense, with on-demand content coming soon. The platform is available via Sling Latino’s “Paquete Total,” in addition to the “Best of Spanish TV” and “Películas & Novelas” packs, available for $5 each on Sling TV.

Dish Network in February bowed Sling TV as the nation’s first so-called “skinny” bundle, offering 20 pay-TV channels for $20. Sling Latino Paquete Esencial was launched in June.

“While other traditional pay-TV providers have abandoned their Latino-focused OTT services, The addition of Cine Sony Television is testament to our commitment of giving customers choice in their entertainment options,” Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV, said in a statement.
