Shout! Factory Puts 'Route 66' on Hulu

Independent distributor Shout! Factory will release the first season of the 1960s drama “Route 66” on Hulu and Hulu Plus, beginning April 14.

Airing from late 1960 to early 1964, the series, created by Academy Award-winning writer Stirling Silliphant and producer Herbert Leonard, starred Martin Milner as a sheltered intellectual and George Maharis as a tough orphan who travel America in a Chevrolet Corvette.

All 30 episodes from season one will be available via hulu.com/route-66, and first-season episode guest stars include Leslie Nielsen, Lee Marvin, Jack Lord, Anne Francis, Walter Matthau and Robert Duvall.
