PlayStation Vue Adds NFL Network

25 Aug, 2016 By: Erik Gruenwedel

On the heels of a distribution deal with Sling TV, NFL Network inked an agreement with PlayStation Vue, Sony’s standalone subscription online TV service.

Vue subscribers whose plans include NFL Network, can also subscribe separately to NFL RedZone ($39.99). Produced by NFL Network, NFL RedZone (starting Sept. 11) cuts from stadium to stadium to showcase the most exciting plays as they happen.

In addition, users with a Core (from $34.99) or Elite ($44.99) plan have access to watch NFL Network via NFL.com, the NFL app available across TV-connected devices, and via NFL Mobile at no extra cost.

NFL Network is not available on Access Slim, Vue’s $29.99 plan.

Launched in 2015, PlayStation Vue with a cloud-based DVR, is available on multiple devices, including PS4, PS3, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, iOS and Android. It can also be accessed via Google Chromecast.
