Pact involves streaming access to TV Land series 'Younger'
Hulu June 20 announced a new agreement with Viacom for exclusive subscription streaming video-on-demand (SVOD) rights to TV Land dramedy "Younger." All past episodes of the series are now available on Hulu ahead of the June 28 season four premiere.
From “Sex and the City” creator Darren Star, “Younger” stars Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann and Molly Bernard.
The series follows Liza (Foster), a 40-year old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing.
The upcoming season adds guest stars Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked, Hairspray Live), Charles Michael Davis ("The Originals"), Aasif Mandvi ("The Daily Show"), Jennifer Westfeldt (Friends With Kids), Meredith Hagner (Search Party) and Phoebe Dynevor (Snatch), as well as the return of fan favorites Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"), Mather Zickel ("Masters of Sex"), Tessa Albertson (3 Generations) and Ben Rappaport ("Mr. Robot").
Season four, as well as future seasons of the series, will become available to stream on Hulu following their full season runs on TV Land. The show has been renewed for a fifth season.
Other Viacom programs on Hulu include “Nashville,” “Broad City,” and “South Park,” among others.
