Crackle, Sony Pictures Television’s free, ad-supported video network, has expanded to 17 Latin America countries.
Crackle.com went live in Brazil in March and is now available in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
“Whether users in the region are looking for classic action films or the goriest horror flicks, they can find all their favorite genres for free on Crackle.com,” said Jose Rivera Font, VP and GM of Crackle Latin America. “Our goal is to establish Crackle as the premiere go-to online destination for free high-quality movie content in Latin America."
Sony plans on adding new feature films every week and will keep a running offering of around 150 titles at any given time. Films currently available include Stealth, Hellboy, The Cable Guy and Hollow Man.
