Cinedigm Launches Docurama Digital Channel

Cinedigm May 20 announced the launch of the Docurama digital channel — a free, ad-supported direct-to-consumer on-demand streaming channel available on more than 165 million consumer devices, offering award-winning and critically acclaimed documentary content.

Genres categories on the channel include Sports; The Environment; War, History & Current Events; Pop Culture; Arts & Music; Human Interest; and Travel & Leisure.

The channel features many Academy Award nominees and includes work from filmmakers such as Alex Gibney, Fred Wiseman, Stacy Peralta, Liz Garbus and Joe Berlinger.

By mid-summer, Docurama will present more than 1,000 titles, with fresh content programmed weekly, including seasonal themes and holiday titles. The channel will also share behind-the-scenes interviews, curated film festival coverage,  short-form and early pre-release sneak peeks, and clips for upcoming films to be programmed in the coming months.
