Amazon Announces June Movie, TV Slate

Oscar winner 'The Salesman' and 'Paterson' among new titles available
Amazon May 16 announced the June line-up for new and classic movies and TV shows available for electronic sellthrough, rental and streaming.
The e-commerce behemoth will make Oscar-winning The Salesman (Best Foreign Language Film) available for streaming to Prime members June 1. The drama, about a husband who attempts to determine the identity his wife’s attacker while she struggles with post-trauma stress, together with Amazon Studios’ Paterson (June 22) bows with 148 separate catalog movies, including Star Trek Beyond, The Queen, Mr. Mom, The Mechanic, Gone Baby Gone, Bowling for Columbine and Apocalypse Now, among others.
The Salesman DVD/Blu-ray Disc hit retail shelves May 2 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment streeted Paterson — the story of a bus driver and his wife over the course of one week chronicling the triumphs and defeats of their daily life — on April 4.
Amazon Original Limited Series “Le Mans: Racing is Everything,” chronicles the 24-hour car race that has taken place annually in Le Mans, France since 1923. In addition to HD and SD, “Le Mans: Racing is Everything” will be available in UHD and HDR on compatible HDR devices June 9.
Amazon Original Kids Series fourth and final feature, An American Girl Story: Summer Camp, Friends for Life, showcases Suzie, a Korean-American girl from Seattle who stays connected to her friends by sharing stories through videos (June 9).
Amazon Original Kids Series, “Danger & Eggs” features the voice of SNL’s Aidy Bryant, and is about a young girl who takes on dangerous stunts with her best friend, an anthropomorphic egg named Phillip (June 30).
Amazon Original Unscripted Docuseries “All or Nothing S2,” June 30 chronicles the NFL's Los Angeles Rams’ return to Southern California in 2016.
Amazon Instant Video, the company’s transactional platform, June 6 will have non-exclusive digital access to Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, along with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s The Lego Batman Movie (May 19), CHIPS (June 6), and Liongate’s John Wick: Chapter 2 (May 23).
The Lego Batman Movie will be available on disc for purchase and physical/digital rental June 13. CHIPS will be available June 27, John Wick: Chapter 2 (June 13). Beauty and the Beast will be available on disc June 6.
Amazon Instant Video also offers new TV episodes airing the day after their initial broadcast, including season six of “Kendra on Top” (June 23 from WE tv) and season four of AMC Network’s “Turn: Washington’s Spies,” beginning June 17.
