Acorn TV Adds Two

Acorn Media’s British TV streaming service Acorn TV will add two new original series Jan. 16, including the third season of “Upstairs, Downstairs.”

Acorn TV also will add the second season of the mystery series “Cadfael,” starring Derek Jacobi (“I, Claudius,” The King’s Speech) and Stephen Moyer (“True Blood”).

Also streaming on the service is “I, Claudius,” which comes to DVD March 27, Acorn’s top-selling series, “Midsomer Murders,” along with nearly a dozen other British series.

Users pay a $24.99 annual fee for Acorn TV (acornonline.com/TV).
