Sony Pictures Ups Jackson

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has promoted Cooper Jackson to SVP of business affairs. She will report to John Calkins, SPHE's EVP of global digital and commercial innovation.

Jackson will handle such initiatives as evaluating potential distribution partnerships and licensing deals. She also will continue, from her previous role as VP of business affairs, to oversee business affairs for SPHE and global home entertainment agreements.

“Cooper is a key player across SPHE’s global business, and I’m thrilled to recognize her work with this promotion,” Calkins said. “She has proven herself to be a shrewd and strategic negotiator in the midst of tremendous change in our industry and over the course of dynamic and complex negotiations.”
