Samsung Sells Record 1.15 Million HDTVs in October

Samsung Electronics has topped its all-time record for monthly HDTV sales in the United States, selling 1.15 million units during October.

The previous milestone for the consumer electronics company was 1 million in October 2011. Samsung is aiming to have November be the seventh consecutive month its topped global HDTV sales.

The company credited aggressive marketing, efficient supply chain management and superior technology for the milestone.
