Projections: 'Walking Dead' Could March to the Top

The disc release of the fifth season of "The Walking Dead" could be a rare TV title to top the home video sales charts the week ending Aug. 30.

The latest disc release of the hit show will have to overcome the week's top new release of a theatrical to disc, Sony Pictures' Aloha, as well as strong holdovers such as Lionsgate's Insurgent and DreamWorks Animation's Home.

On the rental chart, Home should rise to the top spot after the end of its 28-day embargo at Redbox kiosks. Sony Pictures' Aloha is likely to take the No. 2 rental spot, followed by Warner's Hot Pursuit.
