Projections: 'Twilight' Set to Again Rule Sales

Two notorious trends will come to a head the week ending Feb. 12 in a battle of past and present for the top spot.

Disney’s re-releases of its classic animated films as Blu-ray “Diamond Editions” usually take the top spot their first week in stores.

This week, however, Lady and the Tramp will have a lot of competition from the Saturday disc release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1. All “Twilight” films have debuted on disc on a Saturday, and all have topped the sales chart their first week in stores despite the short lead time.
