Projections: 'Strings' Has Shot at No. 1
16 May, 2011 By: John LatchemParamount Home Entertainment should enjoy a good week, with the debuts of both No Strings Attached ($70.7 million box office) and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never ($73 million).
Strings is likely to finish in the top spot, since Never debuted on a Friday instead of the usual Tuesday. But a dedicated Bieber fan base could push it to No. 1 or even No. 2, depending on how well Sony Pictures’ holdover The Green Hornet performs.
Strings should top the rental chart.
