Projections: Sales Chart a 'Sucker' Bet
4 Jul, 2011 By: John Latchem
A weak slate of June 28 releases means several titles have the potential for seizing the top spot on the sales chart.
The highest-grossing newcomer is Warner’s Sucker Punch with a $36.4 million domestic haul. Fox’s Season of the Witch ($24.83 million) received a decent promotional push, and holdovers such as Unknown, The Adjustment Bureau, True Grit and Battle: Los Angeles should continue to perform well.
With most of the newcomers embargoed at Redbox and Netflix, the top rentals shouldn’t change much.
