Projections: 'Peanuts Movie' on Track to Lead Disc Sales
14 Mar, 2016 By: John Latchem
Fox's The Peanuts Movie should lead the home video charts the week ending March 13.
The animated film, based on the classic comic strip, earned $130 million at the domestic box office and leads a sizeable pack of new releases that will have to compete with strong holdovers such as Warner's Creed and Disney's The Good Dinosaur.
Other notable newcomers include Warner's In the Heart of the Sea and Fox's Victor Frankenstein.
The rental chart will see Fox's Spectre take over the top spot after the end of its 28-day holdback from Redbox kiosks. Warner's Black Mass is looking to move up as well after just a three-week embargo instead of the usual four.
