Projections: 'Panda'-monium on Sales Chart
26 Dec, 2011 By: John Latchem
The rush of last-minute Christmas shopping is likely to throw some chaos into the final chart of 2011, with Paramount’s family oriented hit Kung Fu Panda 2 looking to maintain a high chart spot, possibly even on top.
The top new release looks to be Warner’s Dolphin Tale, a family drama that took in a modest $71 million at the domestic box office.
Other newcomers include Sony Pictures’ Midnight in Paris and Colombiana, which should perform well on the rental chart.
