Projections: 'No Good Deed' Hopes for Good Week
12 Jan, 2015 By: John Latchem
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is likely to emerge from the week ending Jan. 11 with the top selling disc, continuing a good start to 2015 after a rough few weeks for the studio to end the year.
That's because if the previous week's top selling disc, The Equalizer, doesn't maintain the top spot, the new release mostly likely to usurp it is Sony Pictures' thriller No Good Deed, which with a $52.5 million take at the domestic box office is the highest-grossing film among the week's new releases.
Another notable new release is Paramount's Boyhood, a critically acclaimed drama with significant awards-season buzz.
