Projections: 'Lincoln' Presses The Issue on Disc

The arrival of spring has brought a plethora of major titles on DVD and Blu-ray for consumers to enjoy, particularly some of the major Oscar winners.
The latest is Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln, about the 16th president. A DreamWorks production distributed by Disney, Lincoln should follow its $181.8 million domestic box office haul with a disc debut atop the sales and rental charts the week ending March 31.
Its biggest competition for disc sales will likely be Universal’s Les Misérables in its first full week on shelves after a strong weekend bow.
