Projections: 'Hot Pursuit' Driving to Top Spot

Warner's Hot Pursuit is in the best position to take over the No. 1 spot on the disc sales charts from Lionsgate's Insurgent the week ending Aug. 16.

The comedy, which stars Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara, grossed just $34.58 million in U.S. theaters, but it should have a high enough profile to carry it to a solid first week on disc.

Insurgent is likely to remain the top rental for the week, while Fox's The Longest Ride comes off its 28-day holdback from Redbox and should rise to the No. 2 position.
