Projections: 'Game of Thrones' Seeks Sales Crown
24 Feb, 2014 By: John Latchem
With no major films heading to disc Feb. 18, the top title for the week is likely to be HBO’s Game of Thrones: The Complete Third Season, the latest release from the popular fantasy series.
The lack of competition means several earlier releases, such as Disney’s The Jungle Book: Diamond Edition and Lionsgate’s Ender’s Game, will stick around at the top of the charts for a while longer.
The same holds for the rental chart. The only major title new to the rental scene is Universal’s Machete Kills, which came off its 28-day holdback from Redbox.
