Projections: 'Fury Road' Looks to Stay on Course
14 Sep, 2015 By: John Latchem
Warner's Mad Max: Fury Road is on track to top the home video sales charts again the week ending Sept. 13, if it can overcome newcomer The Age of Adaline, from Lionsgate.
Adaline garnered just $42.6 million in U.S. theaters, compared with the $153.1 million for Fury Road. It's also the biggest new release for the week that isn't a TV show heading to disc.
On the rental chart, Adaline should take the top spot over several holdovers, while Universal's Unfriended comes off its 28-day holdback as well..
