Projections: Flip a Coin, It’s Anyone’s Game

Given the weak slate of new releases July 5, which was so low key most retailers didn’t bother to carry any of them, a holdover from a previous week should emerge as the top seller for the week ending July 10.

Since the release slate has been kind of weak the past few weeks, and with Disney running a Fourth of July promotion on its Blu-ray/DVD combo packs, don’t be surprised if something like Tangled returns to No. 1.

The rental chart will likewise consist of mostly holdovers, with strong performer Just Go With It the likely frontrunner.
